ok i know this show has not got Rob in, but i have to say what a start to the fourth series, its great. they should get Rob in it, that would be great too. all the mystery and to have a tasty little glimpse of what is to come with that appearance of rose, wow just brilliant. its spin off (torchwood) though brill was a bit depressing killing off two characters in one ep, not so happy there. anyway the little adipose things were cute and the whole mime scene was funny all in all great. looking forward to next ep. anyone watch it, have some opinion of it?
I didnt watch it at the time but after the split opinions about Catherine Tate I decided to watch it. I thought it was excellent. I love David tennant anyway and I think they both bounced of each other very well. Very comical. Ive only seen the odd Dr Who and I dont watch Torchwood but I reckon I might keep up with this series, it looks entertaining. The Adipose things were cute but it was ruined by the fact they were made from human fat. Ick. They reminded me of the little Aliens from Toy Story.
lol they were rather this weeks episode was great too. the whole Pompeii thing and the whole bit at the end of me shouting at the tv go back and save them dr, was quite comical to my parents. it looked like he heard me when he did actually go back and save them, can't wait for the next ep. anyone else have an opinion on that ep?
I will do soon but I havent watched it yet! Lol! I'm always behind everyone else as I refuse to have to sit and watch telly at a certain time. I was gonna watch it last night but Ive had so much stuff to do I didnt get the chance. Tomorrow hopefully and I will let you know
lol poor you, yes review of third one, slightly poignant, lots of odd ood, and generally feeling sorry for ood. some interesting singing and a giant brain. dr going generally crazy and donna shouting. good episode enjoyed it. i think ill start judging out of 10.
I watched the Pompeii one last night. I felt so sorry for the Dr. I really enjoyed it. Possibly going to watch the Ood one now. I was in Woolworths today and decided I am going to buy my sister a Sonic Screwdriver toy for her birthday next month! Sad thing is, it will be her 32nd birthday.
Watched the 3rd one today. Still loving Catherine Tate and David Tennant as a team, thought the last 2 have been a bit more serious and even though its still good I hope some more of the comedy returns. What did surprise me in todays one was that he had different clothes on! Still the suit and the Converse but different colours. I think that has to be the 1st costume change I have ever seen for him!
As I said before, never been a Dr Who watcher but so far still interested in seeing the whole series.
(of course, it doesn't have anything to do with the fact David Tennant is lovely! ;D)
ok review of 4th ep, brilliant martha and donna together. lots of fun moments, including donna wanting a salute, donna finding all the sick note files and feeling superior and the young soldier calling the sontaran a talking baked potato ;D. some scary moments, great cliff hanger ending, can't wait for the next ep.
only gripe with my vid recorder and the aerial which fell out so my recording was a wee bit fuzzy.
Ahhhhhh, just watched the 2nd part. Fabulous. And surprisingly not because David Tennant is lovely. Just awesome...special effects...the lot. Next weeks one look excellent too.
lol mmm ya not the only one. so review of 5th ep. well smog and pollution all time high. mad potato headed aliens and everyone going crazy. great ep slightly sad when the soldier called Ros died. liked him oh well, Ryan Sampson was excellent (Luke, boy who saved the dr for those who have no idea what im on about). he was in the comedy Now That You've Gone which was good too. for some reason i knew even when the dr was saying good bye that Luke would step in and destroy the sontarans instead of the dr. loved the bit with the valiant (ship) coming in and the dr's bit with the gas mask "are you my mummy?" lol so funny. great ep can't wait for the next mmm the dr's daughter??
